Manchester PDACs Open to New Hampshire and Vermont Pharmacists and Technicians

November 9, 2017

Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) invites New Hampshire and Vermont pharmacy personnel to participate in one of the upcoming Pharmacy Diversion Awareness Conferences (PDACs) in Manchester, NH. DEA is offering two regional one-day conferences, with one on Sunday, November 19, 2017, and another on Monday, November 20, 2017. Each one-day conference is open to pharmacy personnel (pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, or loss-prevention personnel) who are employed by pharmacies or hospitals/clinics that are registered with DEA in New Hampshire and Vermont. The conference is designed to help pharmacy personnel identify and respond to potential diversion activity. Location details, a conference agenda with speakers and Universal Activity Numbers, and a link to the online registration form are available on the DEA website. There is no registration fee for this conference.

DEA PDACs are cosponsored by NABP for continuing pharmacy education (CPE) credit. NABP and the NABP Foundation® are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of CPE. The ACPE Provider Number is 0205. Upon completion of the one-day, knowledge-based conference and all CPE requirements, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians may be eligible to receive up to seven hours of CPE credit (0.7 CEUs) after submitting a Statement of Credit electronically to NABP.
